Our Temple Isaiah community is an energetic and multi-faceted one, offering a rich array of programs, events, oportunities for connection, and individual spiritual and personal discovery. Organized around the core values of Judaism and fellowhip, our volunteer-led organizations, committees, and activities are the driving force of our congregation. The Community Development Committee works to build a vibrant, warm and welcoming congregational community where members feel connected to Temple Isaiah in ways that are meaningful and embody the shared values, goals and spiritual experiences of our synagogue. The committee assists small groups such as empty nesters, interfaith members, families with young children, and chavurot in their efforts, as well as serving as a resource to the larger Temple community and individuals who may be exploring ways in which they can become more engaged with our community. Volunteering is one of the pillars upon which Temple Isaiah is built.
Our committees and activities welcome new participants at all times. For further information about a specific committee or group please contact the chair of the committee, using the Committees Directory to find their contact information. And if you think you might like to be involved but are not sure how or where, you are not alone! Please call or email the Community Development Committee Co-chairs, who will be happy to help you find the right opportunity.
