Vision Statement for Youth at Temple Isaiah
Young people at Temple Isaiah are a vital and valued part of our synagogue and the larger Jewish community. They are loved and cared for as part of these communities.
Temple Isaiah’s vision is that our young people will be empowered as Jews on a personal level, as members of the Jewish community and as citizens of the world. Our hope is that the young people of Temple Isaiah will emerge from our community with:
An authentic and confident personal Jewish identity, which includes:
- An ability to apply Jewish rituals, traditions and values to their own lives wherever they are
- A recognition of the importance of being both teachers and learners
- An understanding that being Jewish requires a lifelong openness to spiritual, intellectual, emotional and social growth To see the complete text of our Vision Statement click here
