Introduction to Judaism provides a wonderful opportunity to learn about Jewish history, traditions, holidays, life-cycle ceremonies and some basic Hebrew. Participants will gain comfort and familiarity with the symbols, liturgy, traditions and Hebrew blessings that accompany Jewish celebrations in the home and synagogue. This in-depth, sixteen week course is designed for individuals and couples wishing to explore Judaism, as well as for those individuals anticipating Reform conversion. Interfaith couples are encouraged to take this course together.
