Temple Isaiah Yom Shabbat Committee on
Jewish Humor
presents
FREE COMEDY & DESSERT NIGHT
Saturday, October 23
Featuring BOB ALPER — RABBI/STAND-UP COMIC

Rabbi Bob Alper describes himself as “the world’s only practicing clergyman doing standup comedy …. intentionally.”  With his unique background as an ordained Rabbi, his humor has wide appeal, from the synagogue or church crowd, to colleges and theaters throughout North America and England. The Chicago Tribune described Bob’s act as “hilarious, relaxed, clean, unhurtful.  A warm type of humor.” The New York Times put it more succinctly: “Bob had the audience convulsing”. We look forward to spending an evening with Rabbi Bob Alper at  Temple Isaiah as he enlightens us with his own “unorthodox” brand of comedy.

The evening of Comedy is a gift to Temple Isaiah
through a very generous contribution by George and Connie Noble
