Exploring the Two-State Solution
A Program of Outstanding Speakers at Temple Isaiah 55 Lincoln Street, Lexington, MA; Free Admission
What would a “two-state” solution look like and how would it work? What would be necessary to bring this idea to fruition? What progress has been made, and what are the obstacles? Is “two states for two people” still the answer?

Temple Isaiah 50th Anniversary Congregational Trip to Israel, April 14-25, 2010
It is time for us to travel, once again, as a group from Temple Isaiah, to Israel. I do not know anyone who has ever participated in such a trip whose life has not been immeasurably enriched, if not changed, by the experience. April is an especially beautiful time to be in Israel, though because school vacation schedules and Passover often overlap, it can be challenging to schedule a trip during that time, especially for those who want to bring their school-age children along. The calendar allows us to do just that this year, and we are planning a trip to leave on Wednesday night, April 14th, and return on Sunday, April 25th. We hope to have a full busload (or more) of singles, couples, families with younger children, and families with not so young children. There will be specialized "tracks" when younger children (sometimes with their parents) will have separate activities and experiences, while the others in the group participate in adult appropriate activities and experiences, so that we can truly travel as a community, even as we ensure that everyone is able to experience and enjoy that which is most appropriate for them. More details will be available during the next few weeks, but if you want to be certain to be on a distribution list for specific information, please contact Andrea Russo, arusso@templeisaiah.net
Interested in a private tour of Israel?
I have yet to meet anyone who has been on a tour of Israel who has not raved about their tour guide. One of the reasons for this, no doubt, is that Israel takes tour guide certification very seriously. Personality, though, makes the biggest difference, and while I have worked with a number of tour guides over the years, none has excelled Nir Nitzan, who has guided our last two Temple Isaiah trips. Nir will be in our area and November, and is interested in making a presentation about private tours to Israel. These are usually for families or very small groups who are interested in a more personal, tailor-made itinerary. We will be pleased to arrange such a presentation by Nir if there is sufficient interest. Would you please let Andrea know if this would be of interest to you? The tentative dates that we are looking at are Wednesday, November 11, and Wednesday, November 18, but there may be some flexibility. More important than your availability on a specific date would be your interest in attending such a session.
