At Temple Isaiah everyone sings! While we use a variety of melodies in our prayers and songs, we've provided some samples of our "standard" melodies to help us be prepared to join in.

The Torah Blessings

If you are called to the Torah you will say (or better, sing!) the first blessing before the Torah reading, and the second blessing after the reading.

The Amidah

The Amidah is the central prayer of our service. For these first two blessings of the Amidah, Temple Isaiah now uses a melody different from our own tradition, but in line with the general practice of Reform synagogues.

The Hatzi Kaddish

The Hatzi Kaddish (literally the "half Kaddish", also known as the Reader's Kaddish) now has a slightly different melody than we have been using:
