Temple Isaiah’s MAZON Dinner is an annual benefit dinner coordinated by Temple Isaiah’s High School Youth Group, LEFTY. RSVPs are required for planning. Please RSVP by Friday, December 27. 

The dinner is an exceptional community-wide event that highlights the very essence of the Isaiah community – Tzedakah (justice), Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) and Hachnasat Orchim (generosity & hospitality). All proceeds from this event go directly to MAZON. MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger is a national, non-profit agency that allocates donations from the Jewish community to prevent and alleviate hunger among people of all faiths and backgrounds.

Please join us for an evening of gourmet food (the main entrée will be catered), prepared by congregant volunteers and their crew of LEFTYites. This is an opportunity to make some new friends and dance the night away to the music of The Titanics.

This year, LEFTY is excited to partner with One Hope Wine to raise even more funds for MAZON. One Hope Wine is an award-winning wine company all about giving back. Each bottle supports a global cause from hunger to the environment to cancer and more. In addition, they offer organizations like ours an opportunity to fundraise through wine sales. This year, anyone who orders wine will be contributing to a donation One Hope will make to MAZON.

In addition to ordering a bottle or two for the MAZON dinner, you can support MAZON by ordering wine for holiday gifts and entertaining, or for yourself (or your cellar). To order, just call congregant Jaimie Adler. She can help you place your order, tell you about discounts for half and full mix-and-match cases, and help you choose your wine. Wine for the MAZON dinner will be delivered to Temple Isaiah and you can pick it up that evening. For other orders, the wine can be delivered directly to you.
