Mitzvah Day is Temple Isaiah's annual day of community service when we invite our entire congregation to help repair the world by participating in a Mitzvah Day projects. Some projects are in-house while others are out in the community. We have opportunities for all ages and abilities, from weeding and gardening to packing snack bags and decorating cards and pillow cases that go to those in shelters. Most projects begin in the morning, but a few are scheduled in the afternoon. Participants are welcome to gather for a community barbecue sponsored by the Brotherhood after completing a project in the morning or before heading out to an afternoon activity.
