Temple Isaiah Heritage Journey to Prague, Kolin, and Berlin April 16 - 23, 2020

On Yom Kippur morning, we read once again from the Kolin Torah scroll — the scroll which is on permanent loan to us from the Memorial Scrolls Trust in London, England. Having been saved from destruction during the Holocaust, this scroll has been in our care since 1972. However, it is significantly older than that. In fact, in 2020, our Kolin Scroll will celebrate its 300th birthday.

On April 16-23, 2020, Cantor Doob will lead a Temple Isaiah trip to Prague, Berlin, and Kolin. For information on the details of what is sure to be the trip of a lifetime, please Read Trip Details Here. Among other activities, we will commemorate Yom HaShoah in Kolin, and follow the story of Jews in Prague, Terezin, and Berlin from the time of World War II to today.
