                       Religious School Enrollment

Dear friends,

While the spring was not what we expected or planned for, we have learned and grown so much as a community. Just to name a few ways: we shared meaningful t’fillah (worship services) each week, we learned with teachers and madrichim (teen assistants), we had the chance to interact with and see our friends, we baked challah, we sang songs and so much more. While we all know that we deeply miss being together in-person, we are definitely together in spirit as one community! Continue reading...

2020-2021 Religious School Calendar: Will be posted later this summer

Class Meeting Times: (subject to change)

We appreciate how challenging it is not to know the exact timing of the religious school program until a final decision about in-person, hybrid, or remote learning is able to be made in August. With this in mind, we are working hard to maintain a similar structure to our current program regardless of which model we employ this fall.

We are using the following language so that we may begin to gather your scheduling preferences and begin to build our classroom communities, whether they be in-person or online.

___

Sunday Early Session: This typically refers to our 8:45 AM - 10:45 AM Sunday session.  This will remain the same if we are in-person.  If we are in a remote setting, early session will mean that your child's class will begin after 8:45 AM and conclude by 10:45 AM, though it will not meet for the entire 2-hour period and we may have two or more sections of the class within that 2-hour period of time. (Grades K-6)

Sunday Late Session: This typically refers to our 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Sunday session.  This will remain the same if we are in-person.  If we are in a remote setting, late session will mean that your child's class will begin after 11:00 AM and conclude by 1:00 PM, though it will not meet for the entire 2-hour period and we may have two or more sections of the class within that 2-hour period of time. (Grades K-6)

Wednesday Early Session: This typically refers to our Wednesday session from 3:55 PM - 5:45 PM.  This will remain the same if we are in-person.  If we are in a remote setting, Wednesday Early Session will mean that your child's class will begin after 3:55 PM and conclude by 5:45 PM, though it will not meet for the entire time and we may have multiple groupings within that 2-hour period of time, especially for our 4th and 5th grade elective program. (Grades 3-5)

Wednesday Late Session: This typically refers to our Wednesday session from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.  This will remain the same if we are in-person.  If we are in a remote setting, Wednesday Late Session will mean that your child's class will begin after 6:00 PM and conclude by 8:00 PM, though it will not meet for the entire time and we may have multiple groupings within that 2-hour period of time to create smaller groupings and deeper learning. (Grades 6-7)

Tichon Isaiah: As with our religious school classes, our Tichon Isaiah program will continue to meet during it's regular Tuesday time, though if we are in a remote setting  your child's class will begin after 6:00 PM and conclude by 8:00 PM, though it will not meet for the entire time.  We expect to gather from 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM for community time, regardless of whether we are in-person or remote.  (Grades 8-12)

Please Note: Any additional tutoring, 1:1 Hebrew learning, etc. will be communicated by grade level and scheduled in direct consultation with families.  We always strive to work with families in order to make the religious school experience as convenient, meaningful and robust as possible.  Thank you for your continued partnership, especially during these challenging times.
