2017 - 2018 Programs and Classes

"Parenting Through a Jewish Lens" at Temple Isaiah
Sundays, October 22nd, November 5th & 19th, December 3rd & 17th and January 21st
9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m

We are excited to announce that Parenting Through a Jewish Lens (PTJL) is coming to Temple Isaiah this fall.  In PTJL, parents of children ages 0-10 years and teachers come together in small group settings, to share the “joys and oys” of parenting, and learn from Jewish wisdom that can enrich their families. Class runs on Sunday mornings during religious school, starting October 29th from 9:00-10:30 AM.  *Register by 6/30 save $20.*

Free babysitting available

 It’s a 6-session interactive program for parents of all backgrounds who are raising Jewish children.

The fee to participate is $95/person or $155 per couple.  Scholarships are available – cost should never be a barrier

Instructor: Renee Rudnick

Renee Rudnick's passion for education and Jewish education have converged for over 20 years in her various roles in the Jewish education world.  As parent, teacher, administrator, consultant, and head of a Jewish day school, she has found tremendous fulfillment working with children, prents, and fellow educators, including her own three grown daughters.  Renee holds a BA in Elementary Education from Goucher College and a MA in Near Eastern Judaic Studies from Brandeis University.
