Learning at the Temple Isaiah Religious School is full of wonder, fun, and community. Caring and supportive teachers, aides, and madrichim (teen aides) guide students in bringing their Jewish learning to life. We strive to create a warm environment where all of our students feel known, appreciated for who they are, and connected deeply with their peers and their own evolving sense of Jewish identity.

Religious School (K - 7th Grade)

We offer weekly religious school for students in Kindergarten through Grade 7, in addition to regular grade based family learning and immersive educational and worship experiences for the whole family.

Mishpacha (PK - 1st Grade)

Our Mishpacha: Family Together program for families with students in PK, K and 1st grade offers a great chance for those who are not yet members of Temple Isaiah to explore our community.  The program is integrated and runs seamlessly with our weekly K and 1st grade experience on five Sundays during the religious school year.

B'Mitzvah

B'Mitzvah is a significant milestone symbolizing the transition into adulthood within the Jewish community. Our thoughtful team of educators and rabbis work closely with families to prepare each B'Mitzvah student and personalize the experience, encouraging students to explore their Jewish identity. It is a beautiful and meaningful moment for students and their families, as well as the entire Isaiah community. Please note, 7th graders must be enrolled in Religious School in order to become a B'Mitzvah at Temple Isaiah. The expectation is that, regardless of when the date of the ceremony is, all of our 7th graders will complete the religious school year.

Inclusion

The Temple Isaiah Religious School is deeply committed to the inclusion of all students in our classroom communities.  If your child has special needs of any kind, please reach out to our Director of Inclusion, Rebecca Winters.  Rebecca will be happy to speak with you to learn more about you and your child and how we can best support them in our community. Rebecca works closely with our teaching staff to train them in best practices and in how to address the diverse needs of all of our learners and families.
