INTRODUCTION
Our synagogue — and the world around us — has changed over the years; how we lead our community needs to evolve as well.
Here are some of the ways we are different today than when our current Board structure was established almost 20 years ago:
- We have a relatively new Vision and Strategic Plan.
- We offer ever more and more varied experiences.
- We have more seasoned, higher-level staff.
- We have less time to volunteer.
It’s time to ensure that our governance structure still meets our needs and enables us to bring our Vision and Strategic Plan to life.
We want to make sure that our Board includes roles that are not only effective in partnership with our exceptional professional staff and clergy, but also right sized and attractive to potential leaders.
