Hineini, we are here! Our temple is fortunate to be a caring community where no one feels alone, where each of us knows that they can turn to the temple for comfort, caring, and support.

Bereavement Committee

The Bereavement Committee consoles those who have suffered a loss and facilitates the bereavement process, in keeping with Jewish tradition and Temple Isaiah custom, at the time of a loved-one’s death. The committee will contact the bereaved family to offer sympathy and support and to help facilitate the rituals, demands, and challenges of the funeral and mourning period. Learn more about the Bereavement Committee on the Death & Bereavement page.

Bikur Cholim

Bikur Cholim is the Jewish value of visiting the sick. The committee strives to support the temple community during all times of need (not limited to illness) by offering meals, rides, and comforting visits. Help us help you. If you need assistance, please call the Temple Isaiah office at 781-862-7160 or contact the clergy directly.

Knitzvah

Knit for others while doing a mitzvah! Knitzvah is a temple-wide group who meet year-round to share conversation, coffee, and tea while knitting or crocheting for others.

Mental Health Team

The Mental Health Team is dedicated to making Temple Isaiah a more welcoming place for anyone dealing with mental health challenges, and to combating the stigma often associated with those challenges. We provide educational programs, staff training, and resources to the Isaiah community, including this comprehensive Mental Health and Wellness Resource Guide. For more information or to get involved, please contact mentalhealth@templeisaiah.net.
