About Rebecca

Rebecca has been a part of the Temple Isaiah community for over 20 years. She considers Temple Isaiah her “home away from home” where she raised her family, served as a lay leader for 10 years, and has been an education professional for 10 years. Rebecca graduated from Wheelock College with a bachelor’s in Child Life and received a Master’s of Education from Lesley University with an independent thesis entitled "Creating Inclusive Classrooms in Jewish Settings" from Hebrew College.

Rebecca serves as the Director of Inclusion K-12 and Program Development K-4 for the Temple Isaiah Religious School. In these roles, Rebecca welcomes all families that wish to be part of the Isaiah community. Rebecca works closely with families to understand each student’s unique learning, social, emotional, behavioral, and medical needs. Rebecca partners with the education staff to create student profiles, differentiate instruction, and introduce varied curriculum to meet individual student needs. She has a passion for building community through fostering meaningful relationships, nature exploration, Jewish spirituality, and children’s literature.
