Our volunteer-led organizations, committees, and activities are the heart of Temple Isaiah. At Temple Isaiah, congregants make things happen. They also make friends and deepen their relationship to Judaism in the process. Openness to new people with new ideas is a core value for us, and a key to the success of our community.  We welcome your involvement! Please join us in making our community what you’d like it to be. Our committees and activities welcome new participants at all times. 

Some of the organizations within the Temple Isaiah community are listed below.

Adult Learning offerings range from multi-session programs and classes to drop-in gatherings and special events

Brotherhood sponsors programs that range from intellectually thought-provoking to reflective, or just plain fun; and from intimate and personal to social to family-oriented.

Families with Young Children may select from a variety of programs, worship experiences, and activities to help them start on a Jewish journey of learning, building community, and family fun!

Hineini (Temple Caring Community) connects of congregants who need support with caring helpers

Inclusion works to keep Isaiah an accessible congregation for all, including LGBTQ, singles, Jews by birth or by choice and those with physical and learning disabilities as well as mental health challenges.

Isaiah Together connects congregants through small groups around a shared interest, hobby, and/or demographic.

LEFTY (Lincoln Street Federation of Temple Youth) is Temple Isaiah’s adolescent youth group, serving teens in grades 8 through 12.

Meet Isaiah holds events and publishes materials to enable congregants to see the breadth of opportunities available at Isaiah and get connected to the areas that resonate.

Sisterhood brings together the women of Temple Isaiah to serve our Temple, support our community, and enrich our lives through personal growth and friendship.

Tikkun Olam helps repair the world by keeping our connection and engagement with Israel vibrant, through advocacy (Tzedek Isaiah), and through service projects to help people in need in our Temple community and beyond
