10:30 AM - 11:30 AMBorn and raised as a Baptist, Andre Tippet converted to Judaism in 1997. He currently serves as the Patriots’ Executive Director of Community Affairs. We are thrilled to have him speak with the Isaiah community about his NFL career, his Jewish identity, and the trips he has taken to Israel with Patriots owner Robert Kraft and other NFL players.
Over a 12-year career with the New England Patriots, Andre Tippett, now 61, was recognized as one of the most dominant defensive players in the NFL.
Andre Tippett was drafted by the Patriots in the second round of the 1982 NFL draft out of Iowa. He appeared in 151 games over 12 seasons with the Patriots and finished his career with 798 career tackles, including 100 career sacks. He retired after the 1993 season as the NFL’s seventh-leading sack artist of all-time.
