6:15 PM - 7:30 PMOur congregational Kabbalat Shabbat services offered at 6:15 p.m. last about one hour, and are appropriate for families and children of all ages.
We extend a special welcome to guest percussionist Mitch Gordon, who will collaborate with Cantor Doob to provide music for tonight’s service. Mitch is the Synagogue Drummer for Congregation B'nai Shalom, Westborough, MA, Hineini Chavurah, Weston, MA, and has davened from the drums at the Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center, Temple Beth Zion, Boston Jewish Music Festival, Sha'arei Shalom, Temple Beth Elohim, and Beth El. He is one of only three synogogue drummers to receive s'micha as Drummer of the Holy Temple. He is adjunct faculty at the School of Jewish Music at Hebrew College. Locally, Mitch often appears with Rabbi Shefa Gold, Noah Aronson, The Kirtan Rabbi, Ellen Allard, Sue Horowitz, Lisa Levine, Shawn Zevit, Peter Yarrow, Jeff Klepper, Larry Milder, and others.
