Mazon Dinner

Saturday, February 9, 2019 4 Adar I 5779

7:00 PM - 10:00 PMSocial Hall and Meeting Room

Temple Isaiah’s MAZON Dinner is an annual benefit dinner coordinated by Temple Isaiah’s High School Youth Group, LEFTY. The theme of this year’s dinner is Welcoming the Stranger. RSVPs are required for planning by January 31, 2019.

The dinner is an exceptional community-wide event that highlights the very essence of the Isaiah community – Tzedakah (justice), Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) and Hachnasat Orchim (generosity & hospitality). All proceeds from this event go directly to MAZON. MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger is a national, non-profit agency that allocates donations from the Jewish community to prevent and alleviate hunger among people of all faiths and backgrounds.

Whether this is your 34th or your first MAZON Dinner, please join us for an evening of gourmet food (the main entrée will be catered), prepared by congregant volunteers and their crew of LEFTYites. This is an opportunity to make some new friends and dance the night away to the music of The Titanics.

Registration for the MAZON dinner has closed to allow time to plan the food order and seating for those who have signed up. We may have a few spots available. Please email Jennie Goldfarb, jgoldfarb@templeisaiah.net to find out if there is still room.

For planning purposes, reservations for MAZON dinner closed on January 31. If you would like to donate to MAZON through the LEFTY MAZON dinner, you may do so below. Thank you!
