Friday, May 8, 2020 • 14 Iyar 5780
2:00 PM - 3:00 PMGreat for all ages!
Shabbat is a time of joy and coming together with family to pause and reflect on the week. Shabbat is different from other days of the week. In Judaism, we are commanded to make Shabbat extra special. One way to do this is by cooking special foods; another way is to decorate the Shabbat dinner table so it is especially beautiful. In this fun art project, we will make delicate tissue-paper flowers for our Shabbat dinner table, and together we will do the mitzvah of making Shabbat beautiful!
Materials:
-Tissue-Paper (cut into about 5” squares) about 12 pieces
-Scissors
-Yarn (or ribbon)
