Featuring Rev. Barbara Callaghan and Rabbi Rachel Maimin

During tonight's Shabbat service we welcome Rev. Barbara Callaghan, who will deliver the sermon, and the choir of Hancock UCC (who will join with the Isaiah choir).

Temple Isaiah has an extraordinary history with Hancock United Church of Christ: before we had our own building, our regular Shabbat worship took place at Hancock, and one of our upstairs classrooms was dedicated by that congregation. It is a privilege to continue to develop and strengthen that relationship, as we participate in a choir and pulpit exchange this weekend.

Please join us for the second half of the pulpit exchange on Sunday,  March 8, 10:00 am, at Hancock UCC. Rabbi Maimin will deliver the sermon and the Isaiah choir will join with the Hancock choir at Hancock's Sunday morning worship service.

In times of these, perhaps especially, this kind of affirmation of our relationship with one another is especially important.
