Join us for a special Shabbat service of music and connection as Temple Isaiah commemorates Yom Hazikaron (Israel’s Memorial Day of the Fallen) and  then celebrates Yom Ha’Atzma’ut (Israel’s Independence Day). It is fascinating that these two special holidays, one somber and contemplative and one happy and celebratory, are observed in Israel over a two-day period. Sorrow to joy. Cantor Doob has invited Israeli musicians Emanuel Keller (cello) and Yotam Ishay (keyboard) to provide a musical context, and our own Israeli Young Ambassador ShinShin Adar Gitsis will be a part of the evening as well.
