Rebecca Karen

Grade 6 & 7 Coordinator, Family Educator & Teacher

Rebecca Karen is the  Grade 6 & 7 Coordinator and family educator.  As the Grade 6 & 7 Coordinator and family educator she develops the curriculum, coordinates special events and family education programs. Rebecca is a Brandeis University graduate with a B.A. in General Science.  During her years at Brandeis, Rebecca taught in multiple Hebrew schools in the Greater Boston Area.  She discovered teaching was her love and the place she was most energized and enthusiastic. After graduating Brandeis and while teaching third grade at the Rashi School, she received her Master Degree in Education from Lesley University.  Rebecca taught third grade for 5 years at a Jewish Day School in Greenwich, CT before rejoining the Temple Isaiah community.
