Description of Services on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur
Our Congregational Services on Erev Rosh Hashanah, Rosh Hashanah, Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur morning are held in the sanctuary and are appropriate for adults and children of any age who are able to participate. Tickets are required for these services and can be ordered by filling out the form below.
Family Services are offered at 2:30 pm on Rosh Hashanah and at 2:15 pm on Yom Kippur. These services are designed for families with young children from birth to 8 years old. No registration or tickets are required to attend the family services.
Childcare and Youth Programming
Childcare (for infants and pre-school children) and Youth Programs (for children in Kindergarten - Grade 5) are offered on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur at 8:30 am and 11:30 am. Registration is mandatory so that we can provide appropriate staffing. Please Register Here by Monday, August 27, 2018. Children of any age who are able to participate in the main Congregational Services are encouraged to attend with their parents.
Special Needs Assistance
As part of Temple Isaiah's commitment to ensure that all congregants are welcome and able to actively participate in the services, we reserve space and seats for families with those in wheel chairs or with other special needs, and offer reserved parking. Please note on your ticket request form if you are requesting special needs assistance or seating. A member of the High Holiday Committee will contact you to complete the arrangements. There is a system to aid the hearing impaired in the sanctuary; ask an usher for assistance.
Tickets
When you order High Holiday tickets, please indicate which services you plan to attend and the total number attending each service. Please order tickets no later than Monday, August 27, 2018. Ticket requests are honored for members in good standing. Guest tickets are available for out-of-town visitors, not local residents. A donation of $100 is requested for guest tickets. Members of URJ congregations may request complimentary tickets. If you need to make confidential special financial arrangements, contact SpecialArrangements@templeisaiah.net. We want every member to be able to participate fully in the High Holidays.
