Zvi A. Sesling is the Poet Laureate of Brookline, MA and a prize-winning poet. Please join us for a reading of his works, with content ranging from The Lynching of Leo Frank to lighter topics such as baseball.

He has been published widely in print and online nationally and internationally. Sesling is Editor of Muddy River Poetry Review, publishes Muddy River Books and reviews for the Boston Small Press and Poetry Scene. He has been a featured reader in various venues in the Boston area and San Diego, as well as on local cable television and radio stations.

Among his awards is First Prize in the Reuben Rose International Poetry Competition. He is a four-time Pushcart Prize nominee and was featured reader at the Jewish Poetry Festival. He has authored four volumes of poetry, War Zones (nominated for the Mass Center for the Book Award), The Lynching of Leo Frank (nominated for the Jewish Poetry Book Award and nominated for the Mass Center for the Book Award), Fire Tongue and King of the Jungle (nominated for the Mass Center for the Book Award), as well as two chapbooks, Love Poems From Hell and Across Stones of Bad Dreams. He has taught at Suffolk University, Emerson College and Boston University. He lives in Brookline MA with his wife, Susan J. Dechter.
