Breakfast with Michael Holley

Sunday, November 5, 2017 16 Cheshvan 5778

9:15 AM - 11:00 AM

Local TV and radio personality and sportswriter Michael Holley will speak about his latest book, Belichick and Brady: Two Men, the Patriots, and How They Revolutionized Football, in which he takes readers behind the scenes of the relationship that transformed the Patriots from a middling franchise to the envy of the NFL.

No head coach-quarterback pair has been more successful in NFL history than Bill Belichick and Tom Brady of the New England Patriots. Together, they have won five Super Bowls, seven AFC championships, and fourteen division titles. In his talk, Michael will take us inside their relationship, dissecting how these men and their team came to dominate football.

Michael Holley is the author of the New York Times bestsellers Patriot Reign, War Room, Never Give Up (with Tedy Bruschi), and Red Sox Rule. He graduated from Point Park University in 1992 and began his career in journalism at the Akron Beacon Journal covering high school sports and later on the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 1993, Holley was one of a dozen reporters who contributed to the Beacon Journal's Pulitzer Prize winning series "A Question of Color." He was a Boston Globe sportswriter for ten years, becoming a columnist in 1998, and has made numerous appearances on ESPN and Fox SportsNet. He is the cohost of the popular Dale & Holley show on Boston sports radio station WEEI. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with his wife and two sons.
