Thoughts on the Afterlife: There seems to be some confusion regarding the afterlife in Judaism. What awaits us? Heaven and Hell? The World to Come? The Resurrection at the end of time? Reincarnation? Or do we simply dissipate into the Light? In the study we will follow some medieval mystical Jewish concepts regarding this issue. At the end of the day we will still not know for certain the answer to this question. We wil, though, be able to examine these ancient ideas in light of some ethical and spiritual issues that do affect us today, and that are likely to affect us even more in the future.
