Tot Shabbat and Shabbat Club
Friday, March 2, 2018 • 15 Adar 5778
5:45 PM - 7:30 PM
Tot Shabbat services are led by our clergy and Rabbi Amy Hertz, Director of Congregational Learning. They include candle lighting, giving tzedakah, an age-appropriate Shabbat service, and lots of singing! After services, we join together for Shabbat table blessings, a complimentary family-friendly dinner and Oneg (dessert), arts and crafts activities, a play space for our youngest guests, and the opportunity to meet other families with young children. No RSVP is required.
In Shabbat Club, students in 1st-4th grade and their families will enjoy a Shabbat experience with special kid-friendly prayer books and learn the prayers in Hebrew! We will sit in chairs in the chapel and have the chance to learn about the weekly Torah portion in a family-friendly way. We will join together with our Tot Shabbat friends for a family dinner after the service.
