Temple Isaiah congregant Professor Stephen Whitfield, Professor Emeritus of American Studies at Brandeis University, will examine the lives and music of these two musical icons, providing insight into their universal appeal.
Mark Morgan, Director of Music at Hancock Church and a baritone who has appeared in musical theater, cabaret, and operetta throughout the country will team up with Cantor Doob to perform more than a dozen of the best-known Bernstein-Sondheim songs. The Jeweltones, our Sisterhood a cappella singing group, will also perform at this Yom Shabbat program.
